Blue Looks For It's Third Win In A RowHBL Saturday started out as many games before, with a big play. Manny fit a long one in to Eric who managed to squeeze it into the endzone from 48 yards out. Not to be undone, Steve took control of the Blue team and drove them down the field and capitalized on Cesar's ability to get off his man and tie the score at - Red 7 - Blue 7. After Red turned the ball over on downs Steve again took control of the game and drove his team down to the 1 yard line only to only have Eric pluck the ball out of the air for a Red team interception. Red team then turned it on and capitalized by fitting 2 balls to the big tight end Rich for a 20 yard and 1 yard touchdown. Red 21 - Blue 7. The scoring for the half ended with Cesar taking another pass from Steve to bring them within 7 points. The second half started out with a Blue team turnover on downs and the Red team started were they left off with yet another touchdown pass to Rich. The big man scored with his third ball and put the Red team up. Red 28 - Blue 14. On Blue's subsequent possession injury struck when Demetrius went down (pause). To even out the teams Rich sat out and watched the remainder of the game with Demetrius becoming a dynamic commentating duo like Madden and Summerall With Rich on the sidelines now doing his best Summerall impersonation the Red team's offense began to slow down and it's defense breakdown as Steve and Cesar switched positions. Cesar eventually justified the switch to quarterback by finding Steve for a 13 yard touchdown to bring the score to Red 28 - Blue 21. With the Red team's offense struggling came another turnover on downs in their own territory. Cesar seized the opportunity by throwing a quick strike to Aaron from the 25 yard line. The score was now tied at 28. The Red team was able to get back on track and Manny found Eric for a 5 yard touchdown. But by that point Cesar had found his rhythm at quarterback and was able to drive the Blue team up and down (pause) the field for three consecutive touchdowns, a 14 and 18 yarder to Aaron and a 22 yarder to Donnie, respectively. The Blue team had surged to put themselves up by a touchdown. Red 35 - Blue 49 Red finally got it's bearings back and Manny found speedster, former Redskins fan turned Dallas Cowboy fan, Koos for a 64 yard touchdown bomb. Unfortunately it was too little too late as Aaron was again found wide open by Cesar for a 48 yard touchdown. The scoring for the day ended with Macky Moss catching a 10 yard touchdown. The game ended with a Blue win. Red 49 - Blue 56 Blue Wins Blue 56 - Red 49

Number for the Game: 1This is only the second time this year that Macky has been held to 1 touchdown. Did You Notice?Everybody seemed to have the dropsies out there. Both teams dropped an inordinate amount of passes. Aaron didn't have a TD until 40 minutes left in the game. He ended up with 4. Earl missed this game because of "Texas Hold 'em" Eric seems to have at least 3 great 1 handed grabs a game. Manny played the whole game at QB and threw 6 TD's (save for 2 series). Cesar played it for 50 minutes and also had 6. Quote of the Game:Macky: "Blitz" and then he actually tried to. Demetrius: "Catch the ball, then run" to himself Aaron: "We should call you big D.. For big drop" Rich: "I wish I was this weight in high school.. And I wish i was that fast now"
Eric: "I know you're hurt right now, but I can't stop laughing" To Demetrius who re-injured his knee showing everybody how he injured it in the first place. Play of the Game:Donnie: Manny passes to Donnie, it is defended perfectly by Demetrius, though instead of hitting it down, hits it up into the air, Donnie reaches back with one hand to make a great catch - Red 7 - Blue 7 Eric: he pulls down an INT at the 1 yard line - Red 7 Blue 7 Macky: He makes a fantastic catch in between 3 defenders for a first down on 4th and 18. - Red 21 - Blue 14 Koos: With 45 minutes left, Koos pulls in an INT in the endzone - Red 28 - Blue 14 Aaron: He intercepts a pass in the endzone - Red 35 - Blue 35 Eric #2: He makes a great 1 handed sideline grab - Red 35 - Blue 35 Cesar: He intercepts an errant pass with 8 minutes left in the game and up by 1- Red 35 - Blue 42 Manny to Koos: for 64 yards with 10 minutes left to bring Red within 1 score - Red 42 - Blue 49 Cesar to Aaron: Cesar hits Aaron on the sideline who then stops and sprints up the sideline for a 48 yard score - Red 42 - Blue 56 Manny to Eric: Manny hits Eric for aanother 1 handed grab who then goes 45 yards before being tagged. - Red 42 - Blue 56 Demetrius: He shows how he hurt his leg during the game, and hurts it again - Game was already over
