More Score Saving Interceptions Than You Can Shake A Stick At.All year, every team that has won the toss has deferred. Not this time. Blue won the toss and decided to take the ball first. Unfortunately, things didn't go so well as Steve to the help and threw an interception to Daniel just a few plays into their series. And just 4 plays later, Manny hit Aaron in the endzone for a 12 yard TD and the first score of the game. Blue didn't pout about it though, as 2 plays later, Steve hit Earl for a long 55 yard touchdown pass to tied the game up. Blue 7 - Red 7 Manny took over again at QB, but had no luck as Red with 4 and out, not even gaining a yard. Blue took quick advantage of this as Steve hit Ric on a sideline pass and he ran in for a 10 Yard score. Red then took the ball and began to work down field With passes to Sara, Macky, Daniel and Eric, Manny quickly got into Blue territory. However, the drive stalled near the 20 yard line. Blue took over And also worked it's way down field. Steve Rich for a 10 yard pass and Cesar for an 8 yard pass. However, as soon as they got into Red territory, Red's defense held them and got the ball back. Manny made them pay quick when in a couple of plays, he hit Daniel in stride for a 40 yard touchdown to tie the game. Blue didn't give in easily though. And Steve mounted a long drive, culminating with a 1 yard pass to Rich for the touch down and the lead again. Blue 21 - Red 14 Manny began again at QB for Red, but was intercepted by Ric just a couple of plays into the drive. But Blue was stymied and went 4 plays with making a first down, giving the ball right back to Red. Eric took the reins over from Manny and moved Red down the field. Unfortunately, just as Red was about to score and tie the game back up, Eric was intercepted on the 1 yard line by Steve. Ric thought he would try his hand at QB. He managed to move Blue to midfield, but the drive stalled and Red got a second chance to tie the game. And with 2 and half minutes until the half Eric hit Aaron in the endzone for a 25 yard TD. However, the tie only last 2 plays, when Steve hit Donnie in full stride for a 70 yard touchdown. With just seconds left in the half, Eric threw a Hail Mary pass that was picked off by Cesar, ending the first half. Blue 28 - Red 21 Manny took over again at QB for Red and seemingly walked the ball right down the field. However, Blue had other plans and stiffened their defense just as it seemed Red was going to tie the game back up. Cesar took over at QB for Blue and move them back the other way. With a 15 yard touchdown pass to Earl, Blue went up by 2 scores. Unfazed, Manny moved Red right down the field again. This time Red was denied the endzone as Manny hit Macky for a 7 yard touchdown. This didn't even scare Blue and in just a couple of plays, Cesar hit Earl for a 59 yard touchdown, putting them back up by 14 points. Then it was back and forth as Manny hit JP for a 1 yard TD pass and Cesar hit Rich for a 30 yard TD. Blue 42 - Red 35 Eric then took over again at QB for Red, though this time it didn't go as well, going 4 plays and out. Though Reds defense stiffened, Blue was finally able to get it into the endzone when Cesar hit Earl for a 10 yard TD on the 3rd play. Putting Blue up by 21. Eric stepped in a QB again and was able to move right down the field this time. And then, on the one yard line, Eric called hike and threw a quick pass to Manny for the touchdown. Unfortunately, some of the Blue players were not set and the down was replayed. This time, Eric was not as lucky, as he threw an pass to Manny, Steve stepped right in front and intercepted in the endzone. Steve took over again at QB for Blue. But after getting to midfield, the drive stalled and Red got the ball back. Manny switched back to QB, and again, Red drove right down the field. but for the second time in a row, an interception was mad ein the endzone. This time by Cesar. Cesar then took over at QB for Blue. But he was only able to move the ball a few yards and gave the ball back to Red in 4 plays. 2 plays later, Eric hit Daniel in the endzone for a 15 yard TD. With just a couple of minutes left. Blue was able to move the ball at will and run out the remainder of the clock. Though Macky did make an interception in the endzone, it was too little too late as the clock expired seconds later. Blue 56 - Red 42 Blue Wins Blue 56 - Red 42
