The Most Cordial Game in HBL HistoryAs has become custom, Red won the toss and deferred the opening drive to Blue. And also, as has become custom, The first team with the ball scored the first 3 touchdowns of the game with touchdown passes to Ric and Aaron, and a Rushing touchdown by Koos. Setting these up were interceptions by Koos and Aaron. Red 0 - Blue 31 Eric then began to rally his team and started one of the greatest scoring runs and defensive stands in HBL history. He started by quickly working Red down the field and then hit JP for 20 yards and a touchdown. After a couple of series where neither team could get get the ball into the endzone, Red finally got the ball into the endzone when Eric hit Earl as he ran across the middle and then, after juking a couple of people out of their shoes, took it into the endzone. Red 14 - Blue 21 Blue, again, was unable to make that final push into the endzone and gave the ball back to Red deep in Red territory. With JP back in at QB, he quickly moved Red down the field and culminated the drive with a 20 yard touchdown pass. One play later Red had the ball back as Cesar picked off a pass by Ric. two plays after that Eric his Earl again for an 11 yard touchdown. Blue quickly tried to get down the field and score before the half, but came up 15 yards short. Red 28 - Blue 21 After the half, Red continued it's rampage. Scoring on the 3rd play from scrimmage with a 61 yard pass from Eric to Cesar. Both defenses stepped it up as Red stopped blue deep in Red territory, Koos pulled down an interception on the 5 yard line and Red again stopped Blue deep in Red territory. Red 35 - Blue 21 Macky then decided to show up for the game as he pulled down his first touchdown of the day, a 1 yard pass from Steve. Then on the next play from scrimage, he intercepted a pass from Manny to Koos and returned it for a touchdown. 2 plays after that, he pulled down his second interception. Red 49 - Blue 21 A play after Macky scored his second interception in 3 plays, Ric pulled down an interception of his own. Manny, determined to stop this route, moved Blue down the field, ending the drive and touchdwon drought with a 5 yard pass to Daniel in the corner of the endzone. 2 plays after that though, Eric hit Donnie in full stride as he got behind the coverage and scored on a 45 yard pass play. Red 56 - Blue 28 Blue again was unable to get anything going and turned the ball over on downs. Red, never letting up, walked right down the field and scored on a quick hitch from JP to Eric. With only a few minutes left, Manny looked to make the score closer and managed to hook up with Ric for 15 yards and a touchdown. Blue was then finally able to put the breaks on the Red scoring machine and got the ball back with just a minute left and only 30 yards to go. Unfortunately, Blue fell just 5 yards short as the final pass of the game sailed high above Koos in the endzone. Red Wins Red 63 - Blue 37

Number for the Game: 7Red scored an unprecedented 7 straight touchdowns. Did You Notice?The second week in a row a new person has had an interception. (Shaun & Demetrius last week, Ric this week) Both Aaron and Koos had and interception and then scored on their teams following series. Macky had 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in 4 plays. Each player on Red either scored caught or threw a touchdown. Aaron has tied Earl's record for Interceptions in consecutive games with 7. Quote of the Game:Macky - "See I told you he wasn't going to throw it to you. He doesn't have the arm" to Koos about Manny. Macky #2 - "The reason why they are winning is because they are focusing on me and not on anybody else" - even though his team was winning by 2 scores at that time Macky #3 - "HAHAHAHAHA.. Pricks" after knocking down a pass from Manny to Ric in the endzone Macky #4 - "Kick butt.. YEAAAH" right after he smacked Eric's ass Macky #5 - "his legs are unbelievable. The bad thing is he will trip himself" about Steve Macky #6 - "Oh I am done. I have my td and interceptions" Macky #7 - "Hey.. That's.. Uhh.. I don't know" in his infinite propensity to try and call a penalty on every play. Sasha - "Who's that guy? He's annoying. Does he ever shut up? I would kick his butt if I played against him. Don't ever mic him up again" While watching only 10 minutes of footage with me. Play of the Game:Ric: Ric makes a sideline grab with his feet just inbounds on fourth down - Red 0 - Blue 0 Steve: Steve zig-zags for 15 yards making 4 people miss in the process. - Red 7 - Blue 21 Aaron: A pass intended for Koos was batted down by Macky and caught just before it hits the ground by Aaron - Red 14 - Blue 21 Macky: Macky knocks down a pass from Manny to Ric in the endzone on fourth down. Red 35 Blue 21 Macky #2: Macky picks off a pass intended for Koos and returns it 15 yards for a TD - Red 49 - Blue 21 Macky #3: Macky pulls down his second Interception in 3 plays as it bounces off Ric's hands into his. Red 49 - Blue 21
