Can Blue Rebound After Last Weeks Thrashing?

The weather was unseasonably warm as we started the final game of the first half of HBL5.  With Red winning the toss and deferring the opening drive to Blue.  The immediately moved right down the field. However, their drive stalled 10 yards from the endzone.  The teams then traded interceptions as Donnie and Aaron pulled down interceptions.  Red then ended the scoring drought with a long drive and a 1 yard TD from Manny to Macky.  Red 7 - Blue 0

Blue then got its own offense in gear and  works it way to midfield before Eric hit Demetrius running down the sideline for a 40 yard touchdown to tie the game up.  Red then worked right back down the field and Manny hit Macky again for a 15 yard touchdown this time.  One play later, Earl picked off an errant pass by Eric and ran it in for the endzone and for the forth week in a row, the score is 21 -7.  Red 21 - Blue 7

Eric then looked to rally Blue and began to move down the field, culminating the drive with a 10 yard touchdown to Edwin.  Red didn't easily give the lead back and worked to keep their lead.  Moving right back down the field and scoring on a 1 yard touchdown from Manny to Macky again. After Blue turned the ball over on downs, Manny hit Aaron 1 play later for a 35 yard touchdown.  After moving the ball right down the field and looking to go for a score to come back with in 2 scores, Cesar pulled in a great interception just before the half.  Red 35 - Blue 14

Red started the second half with the ball, but was unable to do anything with it as Blue snagged 4 sacks in the first 6 plays to get them the ball back deep in Red territory.  And after a few plays, Eric hit JP for a one yard score.  Again, Red was unable to do anything with the ball and gave the ball back to Blue in just 4 plays.  And just two plays later, Blue was back within 7 points as Eric hit Rich for a 2 yard Touchdown. Red 35 - Blue 28

However, the 7 point spread would only last for one play as Manny hit Aaron for a 70 yard touchdown.  JP took over at QB for Blue, but was only able to move his team to midfield before giving the ball back to Red.  Blue drove right back down the field and after a pass to Cesar got them to the 1 inch line, Manny hit Macky for his fourth touchdown of the day..  Red 49 - Blue 28

JP failed to give up and worked right back down the field again.  And 25 yards out, He handed the ball to Donnie, who followed his wall of blockers and ran down the sideline for a touchdown.  Again, Manny acted quick and hit Aaron for a second 70 yard touchdown.  Blue was able to move the ball this time, however, their drive died only 10 yards from the endzone.  Manny moved the ball right back down the field and ended this drive with an 8 yard touchdown to Earl. - Red 63 - Blue 35.

Blue again gave the ball back to Red at midfield after their next drive died.  Just a few plays later, Cesar hit Manny for a 30 yard touchdown.  A few plays later, Earl pulled down his second interception of the game.  And a couple of plays after that, Earl finished what he started with a 20 yard TD catch of a pass from Cesar.  Red 77 - Blue 35

Blue worked to try and make the score close, and quickly drove down the field.  This time they put it in the endzone with a 20 yard TD pass from Steve to Eric. And a few plays after that, they looked to make it even closer as Steve pulled down and interception and the turned right back around and hit Rich in the endzone for a Touchdown. With time running out, Red moved the ball down the field.  And with only 30 seconds left, Cesar hit Macky for 30 yards and close to a touchdown.  However, both sides called it quits at that point and left well enough alone.
